Govindaji Temple, Imphal

Govindaji temple is a well known and respected Vaishnavite temple constructed by the former kings of Manipur during the earlier years of 18th century in Imphal. The simple and yet stylish construction includes two magnificent gold domes,  a flat court and a commodious members hall. The temples of Krishna and Balaram is located on one part and a Jagannnath temple located on the other part flank the presiding deity Vishnu.
