Rabindranath Tagore History: Rabindranath Tagore is the first Indian to win Nobel Prize. He is also the first Asian to win the prize. He was born in 1861 May 7 in Kolkata. His father is Debendranath Tagore. His Mother is Sarada Devi. The major Bengali Story writer Swarnakumari Devi is the sister of Rabindranath Tagore. He married Mrinalini Devi in 1883. Her age was only 10 at the time of Marriage. "Bhikharini" ("The Beggar Woman") is the first short story written by Tagore. It was first published through the family newspaper “Bharati” in 1877. Other popular short stories of tagore is Chinnapatrasamapti, Kabuliwala, Paila Number. Abhilasha was the first published poem of Tagore and it was published in the newspaper Tattvabodhini in 1874. He wrote the first drama called Valmiki Pratibha in 1880 and he also acted in Valmiki Pratibha. It was in 1901, he founded Shanti Niketan. Tagore’s residence is now located at Jorasanko in Kolkata. He stayed in Shanti Niketan in later days of life. He wrote the popular song, Janaganamana. It was during the congress conference in 1911, the song was first played. Upon Jallianwala Massacre in 1919, Tagore dropped his “Sir” name in order to show his patriotism towards nation. In 1913, his notable work, Geethanjali got Nobel Prize for literature. He laid stone for the Visva-Bharati University in 1921 December 22. But it was in 1951, Visva-Bharati became Central University. Tagore died in 1941 August 7.

Weapons: Early days, the ancient people lived in the caves because they were afraid of wild animals. However, the wild animals were attacked the people, they were escaped by throwing the stones on the wild animals. By this they found that the sharp edged stones were easily hurt the animals quickly. Because of those, they sharpened there stones by striking to another stones. This led to the invention of making weapons, tools and spheres.Later by the invention of the metals like Bronze, Iron, Copper etc..They were made the weapons by this metals.

Fire: In Early days, the ancient people were wandering in the forest. One day a man was striking the stone to another stone to make the weapons and tools for killing the animals. By the continuous striking, he saw that there is a light were come out, after the striking. This led to the invention of fire.Later, the people were used the fire for cooking the food, for light etc. The invention of fire led to a great advance in their life.
Clothes: One day, a man was wandering through the forest. It was a winter season, so the man was shivering with cold. Because of the tiredness and shivering, he was sitting under the tree. Suddenly he saw an animal leather was near these tree. He take the leather and cover his body with the leather. He feels very hot. This incidents leds to the invention of clothes or dresses. Later, man invented new types of Silks and other materials to make a cloth.
Jawaharlal Nehru History: Nehru was born in 1889 November 14 at Allahabad. Nehru’s father is Motilal Nehru. Swaroop Rani is the mother of Jawaharlal Nehru. Vijayalakshmi Pandit and Krishna Hutheesing are the sisters. The family house of Nehru is Anand Bhavan. Nehru started his education in Harrow Public School. After that he joined Cambridge Trinity College in London for higher studies and he got Honours Degree. He then got law degree from London in 1910 and thereafter in 1912, he returns back to India. He married Kamala Kaul in 1916. Indhira Priyadarshini is the only daughter of Nehru. She was born in 1917. Both Mahatma Gandhi and Nehru met for first time is during the congress annual meeting held in Lucknow in 1916. Upon inspiration from Mahatma Gandhi, Nehru entered politics and was arrested upon Khilafat Movement. Nehru joined Dandi March in 1930 and participated in it. Nehru along with his wife kamala was arrested as a result of Dandi March. During the period of 1921 to 1945, Nehru was jailed for almost nine years. Upon Congress meeting in 1929 in Lahore, Nehru became the congress president. Motilal was the earlier president of Congress. National Herald is the newspaper started by Nehru. Upon Indian Independence, Jawaharlal Nehru became the first Prime Minister of India. He is also the lengthiest served prime minister of india. It was in 1964, May 27 Nehru died while serving in the position of PM. The resting place of Nehru after death is Shantivanam. Jawaharlal Nehru Award for International Understanding is the award given by Indian Government in honour of Jawaharlal Nehru from 1965 onwards. 25 lakhs is the award amount. U Thant is the first winner of this award. U Thant served as Secretary General of UN and he is also the first Asian to serve as UN Secretary General.
