Jawaharlal Nehru History: Nehru was born in 1889 November 14 at Allahabad. Nehru’s father is Motilal Nehru. Swaroop Rani is the mother of Jawaharlal Nehru. Vijayalakshmi Pandit and Krishna Hutheesing are the sisters. The family house of Nehru is Anand Bhavan. Nehru started his education in Harrow Public School. Upon inspiration from Mahatma Gandhi, Nehru entered politics and was arrested upon Khilafat Movement. Nehru joined Dandi March in 1930 and participated in it. Nehru along with his wife kamala was arrested as a result of Dandi March. During the period of 1921 to 1945, Nehru was jailed for almost nine years.
