Kalippankulam in Trivandrum

Kalippankulam is an inhabited area located near Manacaud which lies on the East Fort-Konchiravila route and is about two kilometers away from East Fort. The place is related with an unproven story of Umayamma Rani, the ruler of Venad. According to that story, conflict between Umayamma Rani and Ettara Yogam members leads to the muder of Rani’s five sons was took place at Kalippankulam. Konchiravila Devi Temple and Attukal Bhagavathy Temple are the nearby places of worship. Government Homeo Medical College is also situated near to Kalippankulam. Trivandrum Central Railway Station is about two kilometer away from this place.
